A Contingent Object of Research: The Bridge Project includes a range of critical essays about Do Ho Suh’s work along with images from their exhibition at Storefront.The book’s premise is to document and theorize this first iteration of Do Ho Suh’s more than ten-year long investigation into the mechanics and meaning of an inhabitable bridge spanning from Seoul to New York. This book was conceived and commissioned in parallel to organizing the presentation of The Bridge Project at Storefront in 2010.
